UPDATE: I made the colours a bit lighter, the red of the heart was a bit to drastic though so I changed the hearts brightness separately from the rest. Overall it looks much nicer now I think!

Here it is, my first Copic Marker Coloured Picture! *sheds tear*
I had this drawn since Febuary but didn't finish it, I was going to do it digitally but decided to wait for the Copic Markers to arrive and, well, this is the result after two days of testing and working on it bit by bit. I wish I could blend the colours together to a smooth area yet but I haven't gotten the hang of that so far, I also lack certain colours for each colour family that would make a blend smoother (or even possible) and easier to pull off. So for this picture I didn't blend the colours at all since I was affraid of messing up and having to start all over again, if I'll ever get it to work well I'm gonna use it, but until then this is the best I can do.
Very few things in this picture were actually done with Photoshop, the heart for example was drawn on a different sheet of paper than the character and I just mixed them together, I also added the hearts highlights digitally. Other than that I used the Original Inked Outlines (yes, I traced them for the colouring process) for heart and character and digitally layered them over the colouring to make the Outlines stronger. Apart from that and removing some dust here and there I didn't do much more. But I had to play around with Vibrance and Contrast a bit to get the each colour visible, it's still not optimal, but it's balanced enough I think to see each colour without it being to dark.
Materials Used:
Faber-Castell GRIP 2001 Pencil in HB, Faber-Castell PITT Artist Pen with a Brush Tip (Black), Mitsubishi Signo White Gel Pen, Copic Multiliner 0.3 (Black) and Copic Ciao Markers. Editing done in Photoshop.
